Students who wish to enroll in the LSU School of Music must be admitted to both the School of Music and the University (LSU Undergraduate Admissions). The admission process to the University and acceptance as a music major can be accomplished simultaneously.
The application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarships serves as the application for all scholarships available at LSU for entering freshmen including college and departmental awards. Scholarships are awarded based on academic merit and financial need. Prospective undergraduate freshmen should complete the application for Undergraduate Admission and Scholarships by November 15th of their high school senior year for full scholarship consideration. click here. Deadline for submission of the application is April 15 for the fall semester. Late applications incur a late fee of $15.
